I am attorney Gregory S. Futch. For more than 25 years, I have provided affordable and effective family law counsel to men and women in Northern California. Before becoming a lawyer, I served three years in the U.S. Army. My daughter is currently in the military serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. This gives me a solid understanding of military life, including the challenges that can arise when military personnel or their spouses file for divorce.
When I work with clients in divorce or family law proceedings, and there are children present, my emphasis will always be on what is in the best interests of the children. In fact, in my contract for services, I include a clause stating that the paramount concern for both client and attorney will be the best interests of your children.

As a mediator, I will serve as a third party neutral, helping you and your ex-spouse work cooperatively to identify and implement solutions that are in everyone's best interests. My Practice
I focus my practice on matters involving:
- Divorce and family law — I handle all matters related to divorce or marital breakups, from child custody and visitation to child support and spousal support/alimony. I will help you in proceedings to modify or enforce a final divorce decree, as well as efforts to bring about or challenge parental relocation.
- Estate planning and probate administration — I will help you put measures in place to ensure the orderly distribution of your property upon death. I also work with executors, administrators and personal representatives, helping you take all steps necessary to successfully settle the estate of a loved one.
